The rooms at Gite "Le Havre De Marie" are cozy and comfortable, with a flat-screen TV for entertainment. As a budget traveler, I loved having this modern amenity to unwind after a long day of exploring.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the pool view. It didn't appeal to me as much as the other options.

Title: Amazing Vacation Spot for Teenagers!
If there was one thing we could ask for, it would be more late-night options for entertainment. Don't get us wrong, the village was super cute and all, but as teenagers, we love to party it up late into the night.

The rooms at Gite "Le Havre De Marie" were cozy and comfortable. The flat-screen TV in the room was a nice touch, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The fully-equipped kitchen in the two-bedroom house allowed us to prepare our own meals, saving us some money as budget travelers. The tile/marble floor in the suite added a touch of elegance, and the dining area was perfect for enjoying our meals.
Personally, I found the view from some of the units overlooking the pool or garden a bit lackluster.

The family room was incredibly spacious with two comfortable double beds, two toilets, and a shower plus an additional shower over the bath. We were pleasantly surprised to find good fans in the room. The use of a fridge freezer was a convenient bonus. The breakfast selection was lovely, and the pool and gardens were incredibly relaxing. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The location was great, with a short drive to Beaugency for shops and restaurants, as well as beautiful river walks and the option to use bikes for a scenic cycle along the river.

The Gite "Le Havre De Marie" in Lailly-en-Val offered a truly authentic French experience. The self-catering gite had a modern yet traditional feel and was equipped with everything we needed. The beautiful gardens and shared pool added to the overall charm of the property. The location was ideal for exploring the Loire Valley, with Chateau Chambord and the city of Orléans just a short drive away. Having a car was essential, but parking in France was easy and affordable. The host, Marie, was welcoming and always available to assist us. The nearby village had a bakery and shop, and larger supermarkets were just a short drive away.
Felt good, no complaints at all.

We checked into this charming property a week ago and stayed for 3 nights as a family of 4 in a family room. The property, garden, breakfast, and our fantastic hostess Marie were just perfect. The period state house is divided into different parts, giving us the privacy we needed. The communal sitting/dining room with French and antique furniture had a breathtaking view of the garden. The swimming pool was clean and heated, allowing us to swim in the rain at 8 p.m. The location is in a quiet village near Beaugency, with nearby bakeries, a supermarket, an old church, and a lake. Highly recommend staying for at least two nights to fully enjoy this property.
Recommend this hotel.

For the price, we got incredible value at this charming hotel. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and well-equipped bathroom. The location was peaceful and ideal for exploring the Loire Valley. The staff, particularly Marie, the owner, were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.
The breakfast experience could have been improved with a wider selection of hot food options.
